General Overview

Management

The Management of LICOS consists of the Executive Board, the International Scientific Advisory Council and the Research Council. The Executive Board of LICOS is comprised of internationally recognized academics. The most important responsibilities of the Executive Board are to supervise the policy, the procedures and the finances of LICOS and to advise the director of LICOS concerning interesting and useful scientific research areas. The International Scientific Advisory Council of LICOS is comprised of internationally recognized and eminent academics who provide intellectual and strategic guidance to LICOS.

Staff

The staff members of LICOS comprise the director, administrators, research managers and senior as well as junior researchers who work on topics of LICOS and are committed to contribute to the mission of LICOS via participating in activities such as seminars and publications.

Visitors

LICOS offers interested scholars working on LICOS related topics the opportunity to pursue their research at LICOS. We provide information on current and past LICOS visitors.

Associated Researchers

Through its associated researchers, LICOS aims to create a wider community of experts, involving resident and non-resident academic experts  with whom LICOS collaborates, but also practitioners (diplomats, policy-makers, ...) who work locally or internationally on institutional issues  generally, and on the specific themes of LICOS in particular.
