Current Position

From 1997 till 2001 I worked on the project 'Law & Economics of the Choice of Environmental Policy Instruments' sponsored by DWTC. This was joint interdisciplinary work with the Law department of the FUL and the KUL. The goal of the project was to make a model for assessing the social costs for different regulatory chains. We have applied this model to the textile industry in Flanders.

Moreover, from 2001 till 2003, I was also part of the 'steunpunt milieubeleidswetenschappen'

I continue working on these issues in a follow-up program 'Law & Economics and the enforcement of environmental law' also sponsored by DWTC.This is joint work with the Center of Environmental Law of the University of Gent.
