
Dr. Jonas Poelmans graduated in 2007 as a “Master in Computer Science” with distinction at the “Katholieke Universiteit Leuven”. In 2010 he obtained his degree of “Doctor in Applied Economics” at the “Katholieke Universiteit Leuven”. He authored more than 35 papers published in international peer reviewed conferences and journals. He won twice the best paper award at the “Industrial Conference on Data Mining” and edited several conference and workshop proceeding volumes. His mains interests include Formal Concept Analysis and Data Mining.

Dr. Dmitry Ignatov works as Seniour Lecturer for State University Higher School of Economics at the chair of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis. Dr. Dmitry Ignatov graduated in 2004 as a “Specialist in Physics and Mathematics” with distinction at the “Kolomna Teachers' Training Institute” (Russia, Kolomna) and in 2008 as a "Master of Applied Mathematics and Information Sciences" at the "State University Higher School of Economics" (Russia, Moscow). In 2010 he obtained his degree of “Candidate of sciences in Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods, and Software Systems” at the “National Research University Higher School of Economics”. He did his PhD (Candidate of science in Russian) research in All-Russian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information specializing in Theoretical Computer Science. He also was a guest researcher as a PhD student of the Postgraduate Program "Specification of Discrete Processes and Systems of Processes by Operational Models and Logics", Department of Computer Science, Dresden University of Technology. He is an author of more than 25 papers published in peer reviewed conferences, workshops and journals. His main interests include Formal Concept Analysis, Data Mining and Machine Learning, especially biclustering and multimodal clustering. He was a co-organizer of several international conferences and workshops: ICCS 2009, RSFDGrC 2011, PReMI 2011, CDUD 2011, SCAKD 2011.

Prof. Dr. Florent Domenach is assistant professor at the University of Nicosia. After a PhD in Paris 1 Panthéon - Sorbonne, he did a post-doc in Tsukuba University, Japan. His research interest are in formal concept analysis, cryptomorphisms of closure systems and problems of consensus in lattices.

Prof. Dr. Guido Dedene is full professor in Management Information Systems at the Department of Applied Economics at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. His lecturing and research activities concentrate on formal methods for system development and quantitative system-management techniques. Guido is also professor at the University of Amsterdam.

Prof. Dr. Stijn Viaene is associate professor and partner at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, where he heads the Operations and Technology Management Competence Centre. He is a tenured professor in the Department Decision Sciences and Information Management at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). The research of Stijn Viaene focuses on managerial issues in business-IT alignment, governance and information systems management, and especially on realizing the benefits from business intelligence systems. At Vlerick he currently holds the Deloitte Research Chair "Bringing IT to Board Level".

Prof. dr. Aimé Heene (born 1950) holds a Ph.D. in educational sciences and an MBA from Ghent University (Belgium). He is a full professor at Ghent University. He heads the Department Management and Organization. Prof. Heene teaches strategic management for private and for public organizations and currently focuses his research on (competence-based) management in social profit organizations. He has been the vice-president of the Dutch-Flemish Academy for Management, a founding member and secretary of the Flemish Strategy Society, and a member of the advisory board of the European Foundation for Business Qualification.
Prof. Heene published five Dutch books on strategic management and has served as a co-editor of several English volumes on competence-based strategy theory. He is a co-editor of “Research in Competence Based Management”, a new serials published from 2005 on. He published (together with Ron Sanchez) “The New Strategic Management”, a textbook on a new view on strategic management theory, research, and practice. Prof. Heene is a member of the editorial board of several journals. Since 1992 he (co)chaired seven international conferences and workshops on competence-based strategic management.
